




A complete physical exam and appropriate lab work are required prior to boarding Emergency boarding may be accomodated, but there may be medical charges involved. Your bird will be fed Harrisons pellets and fresh food. Lights are on timers to come on 7:30 am and off at 7 pm. The cage or container will be cleaned in the morning and afternoon. Playtime and out-of-cage human interaction will be determined by the bird, the number of birds boarding, and staff availability. Appropriate and timely lab tests will be determined by the doctor, and must be current prior to boarding. Any medical treatment or testing will incur additional charges. We may refuse to board a bird who is destructive, noisy beyond reasonable for the species, or who has a communicable medical condition. Special medical boarding or hospitalization is available for birds receiving treatments. Special short-notice boarding may be arranged, but additional charges may apply, including lab work and medical care. Boarding drop-off and pick-up are by appointment. Changes must be made by contact with the staff; phone messages will not be acceptable. A missed appointment will result in an extra days boarding fees. You will need to advise or remind us of any aggression, behavioral, special needs, or other conditions that may impact other boarders, staff or patients. download in PDF
